In 2018 Vogue and Jordan Brand teamed up for a collaboration that bridged the worlds of sneakers and high fashion. The headlining piece of the collection is this Vogue x Air Jordan 1 Zip AWOK for women. The stunning take on the iconic silhouette features a premium leather upper with a zipper replacing the usual laces for a clean and glamorous aesthetic worthy of the esteemed fashion magazine. The Jordan 1s have a hangtag that reads “Edited by Vogue,” and each pair also features Anna Wintour’s famous “AWOK” (“Anna Wintour OK”) sign-off visible within the clear outsole. The Vogue x Air Jordan 1 was created in two tonal colorways. For this “Sail” edition, an off-white shade covers the soft leather upper and is accented with red detailing.
